I work as a project engineer in one of the world’s largest aerospace companies. I manage the cost, schedule, and overall build-up of large-scale structural tests. These tests consist of vehicles for military and commercial use. Throughout the duration of these tests, Congressman and military officials frequently visit us. Most notably we’ve tested the major segments that make up the International Space Station that are presently in earth’s orbit. My wife and I have a two-year-old daughter who is very active. At preschool, she enjoys to interact with the other kids. We enjoy our weekends at the beach or at the park where we like to unwind from our busy workweek schedule. I completed my undergraduate studies at Cal-Poly, Pomona. My Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering gave me the opportunity to become employed within weeks of graduating. Being out of school for seven years now, I thought it would be in my best interest to earn a graduate degree. Being involved more and more in a managerial position at work, I am anticipating that an MBA degree would be the next logical step in my education. I enjoy photography and working with my photographs in my digital darkroom. I still use a film camera occasionally but it all depends on the situation. I still believe that pictures taken on Fuji Provia Slides are sharper and have more contrast in color than anything I’ve seen in digital. But, the digital revolution continues to improve everyday, so this statement may not be true a few years from now. Update since 03-25-04: We now have a new addition to the family – Matthew Taylor, born on 4/25/04. We are all happy to have him and blessed by his presence. Update since 01-16-07: I fired my boss and now am building my own business in the financial services industry. It was scary at first but now I am glad I did it since I did not have a future there. Ultimately, I will have the freedom, money and opportunity to maximize my time with my family. Isn't that what its all about?
